Unfortunately not
The only difference with this mod are : Ad Free - HD quality for On Demand shows like movies & TV Shows
for live channels HD works but only for 5 minutes then it would end the stream forcing you to SD mode

Mobdro has the unpleasantness of taking forever for the show or movie to load. Live tv and tvtap are far superior.
