OK, this may be the most logically laid out and intuitive players I've used yet. My audio weapon of choice has been PlayerPro, but it's ongoing lack of FLAC support tips the nod to Winamp.

Quick question to all...have you been successful having Winamp d/l album art? It doesn't work for me. I'm on an HTC Incredible first gen. Other than that, it works fine.

I installed it, in order to test the sync with the desktop. Didn't really see what it was actually syncing - but I noticed this morning that the wifi element of WinAmp was responsible for 26% of partial wakelocks.

That is, it was not letting the phone go to sleep (= high battery drain)

However, nice music player, just don't use the wifi sync option

This was the case with the basic free Winamp for me too (SGS2) So i have disabled it, huge drain.
Just use cable to to sync now which is fine.

Works fine on stock rooted froyo O2X, thanks! Too bad when playing songs in Folders View mode, album art doesn't show (it does show when I play it in player mode).
