Of. Course! Pretty sure I'll have it up tomorrow. I already got my skips and banner ads working. I contacted my boy asx who taught me the original audio ad removal hack, and he's got most of it sorted out also.

This version can be modified the same way as the previous ones, but I really don't like it comparing to 1.5.14 and 1.5.15. It has added nothing useful but instead introduced couple of annoyances, even if not hacked. First, the "buffering" counter message goes away and then momentarily reappears right before playback of a new song starts. Second, an empty picture appears and stays for some time right before loading of an audio ad, even if audio ad itself is removed. Other than that there are no differences in speed or usability. We can post it, but I'd wait for next update until they at least fix the flickering "buffering" message. I myself am staying with 1.5.15 for now.

Actually, if there are new problems abounding in 1.5.16, you guys may want to save yourselves a lot of bellyaching from mobilism users and just let it go unreleased. Hopefully Pandora will release an improved version quickly once they realize it is plagued by bugs. Regardless of what you guys decide, thanks for your work and for keeping us informed!

TB is Titanium Backup. Open TB and find Pandora in the list, long-press on it and there should be a market unlink option.

Alternatively, I imagine that one could detach Pandora from the market using Titanium Backup, ROM Toolbox or one of the other such apps that gives that option for every app. It might save you a few steps if you already have one of those apps installed.
