I really really appreciate the cracking work both of you have done with Pandora as are a LOT of other users. Regarding the re-posting of your app elsewhere, I'm in complete agreement with you about it being inappropriate for others taking your work and claiming it as their own: I feel credit MUST be given where it's due.
That said, as AsX mentioned, this is a sharing community (a very public one at that) and it really should be expected that you'll see your work show up elsewhere once it's posted here. So long as you are credited properly you could really just take it as a compliment.
Regarding the cracking method, I highly doubt the re-sharing of your app is going to make any difference. As soon as you post it here it's available to anyone including Pandora. If they want to try to beat your patching they'll do it even if it's only shared here (this thread is EXTREMELY easy to find by google search so it's really not like you're limiting distribution by only having it hosted here). The only way you'll avoid this is not sharing your crack with anyone you don't completely trust (if you start sharing with everyone who PMs you, not only will you run out of inbox space extremely quickly, you'll also have ppl taking it and reposting it publically). If you want to do that it's certainly your prerogative, and I'm sure others will step in and try their hand at cracking Pandora in your stead, but you'll definitely be missed.
I personally posted your app over on another forum per a user's request yesterday. I'm sure a google search will find it for you, but in case you don't look, I want to let you know that I credited both of you in the second line of text in the release post (I believe the credit-format I used is very close to the one you guys used in your 1.5.18 release thread that was later removed). As most forums don't take kindly to linking away, I didn't do that, but obviously anyone who wants to can find you both with a simple google search.
Anyway, thanks again for both of your hard work and generosity. It is sincerely appreciated.
EDIT: If either of you wants to join the forum I posted it at and re-post it officially, just PM me over there, I'll tear down that thread and let you guys re-post an officially supported thread. As you'll notice I just used a dropbox link: I don't do the whole "get money from hosting sites" thing, so I really only re-shared it to help the other members who wanted it. I respect that you guys might want to do that since you spent time and effort making this app which is why I'd be more than happy to defer to your release if you want to.

@ASX - Thanks, your version downloaded fine and runs well on DroidX so far -- unrooted. It does seem to take a few seconds longer to load the next track (compared to the original non cracked app) but works fine aside from that. Skipped 10 songs without problems in an hour. Thanks again
