Wouldn't that be entrapment? (at least in the U.S.) Also, who is collecting the ad revenue? I would think that, if any authorities came after you, it would be illegal since the product on offer is the intellectual property of a rights-holder (therefore breaking the law in the first place to give it to you for free). Confiscating the proceeds of crime is one thing but this, if true, doesn't seem like it would hold up in any court.

but this new app does not make sense to me. i love showbox but i will not be using a new version.
