negative, there is always someone out there who can mod it. Protection is only a temporary with apks. It's just a matter of time. Wait and see - Balatan will give us the latest version in time. Thank me later.
FYI - the 'with ads' version is not bad at all. You get more sources to choose from. And, it auto-notifies you there's an update and downloads it for you. So maybe instead of whining about "OMGBBQ! Plz post latest update IMMEDIATELY I COMMAND YOU!" try the original. It's not like your paying for it

afaik, you can also use Blokada with the official app if you don't want to see the ads

I have blokada installed on a firestick and the ads still show up. I guess he's using a new server or I don't know the address needed to block them. They are really not a bother and if it helps the dev out that's fine with me... it's a small price to pay for what I'm getting.
