There is a lot of room for improvement to minimise the apk size, but resources isn't really a problem for my device to start removing repeated libraries and compressing media files.

I have made it as I required it for use on Fire TV which does not have Google Play Services (to validate my in-app purchase, it is not justified to install play services for this one app), I highly recommend you buy this app if you use it frequently! It helps support the development of IPTV Smarters client

I have tested on large landscape dpi devices like Android Box, I am not too sure but I do hope the AdBanner is removed in this build as I have resized them to 0dip.

Notes: You will need an xstreamcodes IPTV provider subscription or an m3u containing the IPTV channel links. Many can be found online - but ensure it is auto-updating so that it will refresh when the links become dead. I'd recommend enabling the HW decoder if used on AFTV devices and m3u8 file formats compared to .ts which often provide much better stability on bad connections due to the 10 second split streaming.

UK USERS: If your streams are blank during EFL games (+/- 10 mins) - use an dedicated IP VPN provider or an small reputable VPN provider (ones like Nord may block your service during EPL) you are now able to add this using an OpenVPN certificate zipped by the app!

Would like feedback as have rushed to get the new version working on my box.

Appears fine here on large dpi but I don't know about phones.

I haven't messed with corrupting the firebase/analytics on this one, they've hidden the api keys from the public strings xml.

Do not get stuck on "Huawei Mediapad M5"

Adverts are still in this release. I even have adguard dns ans they are still appearing.

This adverts thing is very strange. On my Intel Celeron AndroidX86 TV 8.1 media center, Fire Stick and OnePlus 6 I am not seeing any ad banners.

What device are you using and where is it present so I can modify the necessary activity. Is it an pop-up or ad banner? I'll try to use an emulator to see which activity I might have missed.

Edit: Ok I see what you mean now. I removed the ad banners but since the last release the developer has added the pop-up ads. I'll will see which activity contains them and I'll remove them.

This time it should be working perfectly as I have tested on emulator.

As the Apk has the same signature you can reinstall without having to remove the app.

I have also changed the Terms pages to show it was from Mobilism.org as I have seen my mod being published on other sites

The OP post will be updated with the v2 patch, I recommend all to download and reinstall the apk to remove the pop-up ads on the player. The cast issue should be reported to dev and is not a result from the ad patching.

Dont advertise MOBILISM on modded apps, I think it`s not allowed plus we don`t want the app devs trying to block the app or flagging your links. Put some signature or your Twitter account. Thanks for your work btw

@tuppaacc Hi, I'll tell you something quite strange. I released the ad-free patch initially and only removed the ad banners, I didn't know they added those interstitial ads. The first release I uploaded here and within hours some dodgy apk sites have used web crawlers on Mobilism.org to download any new app releases here and publish it on their own site. They haven't added malware but are gaining monetisation, especially as they use SEO optimisation to appear as the first link on Google.

As there were those pop-up ads, which I did not know of, other people tried other ad-free releases which coincidentally appeared right after my release (there was none before this). They all had the exact same issue, I inspected the file's hash and it was identical to mine - how would they add the exact same apk signature?

This makes me very wary of other sites taking credit of the work releasers put on Mobilism and their respective other apk sources and we need to find a way to get the average user to know that Google censors results like Mobilism and only allows 'sites' with high SEO to appear first. (I use Bing for sites like this as they don't seem to care )

I guess I can try the reddit sub for apk apps so it can appear first on a search.
