Software performance on phones for H.264
This table is a rough idea of what one can hope to play with VLC on Android, for now, using the software decoder.

Haven't tried it yet but I think it's Arm7 Neon.

I installed but app not working always close

For the HD2 and the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 (p1000) = ARMv7 Neon

But everyone can find the right type for him self.
Take a look into: /proc/cpuinfo with a text editor and you will find what you must know.
