Means that the MAC is blocked, nothing to do with the app.

The Mac worked fine on another app, so I am not too sure at the moment

Works fine for me.
Some providers use device serial numbers and even new token mechanisms to counter the constant MAC leaks. If you change device, even if you use same MAC, you may need to ask your reseller to "reset" your account.
This has nothing to do with the app.
I know for one of my services, if I change box, I need to go into reseller panel and reset the account, and then it is fine. It marries to some other aspect of the device also.

How do you explain then, that with same provider and same Mac address, works flawlessly with several other IPTV players and not with
StbEmu ???
It seems that StbEmu, "capture" some device info and sends it to the provider...
With other IPTV players this issue seems not to happen...

STBEmu has pile of extra fields that others do not have or use (or at least not exposed to the end user to modify). STBEmu has a serial number field, and even 2 deviceID if I remember. Don't know if other apps transmit anything for these fields (even though they don't expose them to the user). Have you tried, removing the DEFAULT serial number that STBEmu has ? I think it is in the same screen as the MAC (just under it). Go into it, edit, and then delete it.

I remember with one service I had, I could use many different programs and even an actual STB (which would let you modify the MAC) and my service would work fine on any device (one active at a time obviously). However if I tried once to use it with STBEmu, it would marry the sub to something in STBEmu (I could never figure out what), that then all the other devices would no longer work. But the STBEmu worked fine. I'd ask my reseller to reset my account, and the whole I could repeat the whole process all over again with all the other devices.

I always suspected that my service provider had enabled tokenization and StbEmu would comply, which would explain the marrying to that specific unit and that's it.
