What ads? It has, no adds. You didn't even try the app and yet talking. YMusic was developed on xda first and it has many more features than newpipe. It can download as mp3 and 320kbs quality for example.

Don`t know what all the fuss is really?! This release seems to be working absolutely fine! Playing videos nicely, downloads working as they should (I use this to download music on 320kbps mp3 quality - no issues here) & there`s definitely no ads anywhere! Big up the modder & OP for the post.

Youtube has only m4a format @ 128kbps. Converting it to mp3 will probably actually reduce the quality of the file. I am still using YT Vanced and share the music I like to download to new pipe. A 7 minute track will have around 7mb, but it will be the best quality you can get ripping from YouTube

Newpipe doesn't create the album tags. Tracks have only names. Therefore tracks have m4a file extensions at the end of their names which is annoying for me.

@uncablu I also don't understand where did you get that mp3 quality will be lower than m4a idea from. Ymusic has also 320kbs format. Stop being prejudiced and spreading misinformation.
