-tvguide: option to prefer it to the standard channel browser in most places
-tvguide: do not close when launching playback and restore state when returning from playback to main screen
-backup: support saving and restoring backup using user-provided http storage via url (assume that the url applies POST data)

Yep, and for me i changed tons of settings, start watching a channel and within seconds all my settings are flipped back to default, I changed the wallpaper also between NONE and my own which i share off google drive, and it flips to random choice in seconds to minutes..app is messed for sure. Clean install on brand new Hisense Android/Google TV

I figured out the solution first install the 1.6.7.2 version then restore your settings later upgrade to 1.6.7.3 it works flawlessly

My bad this app doesn`t save any settings and reverts to defaults PLEASE FIX IT SPYDOG

works just fine all my tv devices thats what its for mainly no clue why you guys can't use such simple app sounds to me noone has any true free space on your devices you can't use app if don't have extra space to allow for cache standard for any app in general

Dude I have Nvidia Shield Pro..the Best Android Tv in the market..add to that 240 GB SSD Storage..it was working in the previous release..now it resets when streaming, cant save settings,takes alot of ram,and backup functionality not working..Waiting patiently for a fix

its only an app "dude" you're not gonna die lol use the previous then if works for you not truly drastic diff every time any app updates its not like we paid for it modders are human noones perfect, i'm guilty in past of complaining but have come to senses just enjoy whats free in life....peace

this app is broken, on my end I can't add provider from m3u files and can't update epg
1.6.7.2 works just fine

For those complaining about the backup/restore issue, this is a known issue to developer and not caused by spydog modding. I believe the same thing applies to the crashing. U might all wanna check out their telegram channel where u can report issues to developer.

Not at all the settings are saving ,also backup restore is fine in tryrooms mod this mod has issues PERIOD!!!
