I downloaded the Mod and found credit ads but the post says "This app has no advertisements". Am i missing something ?

Please first understand the difference between credits and credits ads. If google ads are just coded such way that they start when you click on a button that says "ads", how great would that be, right?

Similarly there are no ads that are shown to users that are taking them to my tg channel, Yes, my credits are thete and they are linked to my tg channel like earlier they were linked to my profile here.

But they aren't in your face, they never show up themselves nor redirect to my channel. User has to click on them.

I hope your confusion is cleared now.

Yes. Credit should always be buried under about section, some apps can be an exception which shows their version on homepage otherwise it should be buried in about section or under version info.

If you can put them under settings, you can put them under about section too.

If you want to avoid putting credit ads in your mods, then you can't write the tg link or something relevant to it, you can link to it though.

Though I really don't understand ypur interest in this, you already have an unfair advantage of using your website in your tg so what would you do with this?

The explanation of credit ads defined 1 year ago officially had the term "popup toast or banner or script/title in settings". So I was confused, if I or You or anybody add the Text with TG link linked to the text in settings, is it counted or not ? I understand now that it doesn't fall in credits ads category, but it still conflicts with what is explained in an official text message earlier. I think the old post/message related to credit ads should be refined again according to new policy. Personally i have no issues, i asked because in some mods, i don't add popup, but Info "Mod By RBMods" in settings with linked tg script or no script.

My understanding is as long as your credits are not interfering with app's normal behaviour and not a nuisance to the end user. They don't pop up themselves and in the end, links to a normal setting like about or version info and in anyhow are not advertising your tg group or your website, are not credit ads.

If you are still unclear, please open a new topic in suggestions and discussions section and we can have a discussion over this because personally I hate them and any linking or pop ups should completely be removed.
