Can anyone please help getting this to work on GoogleTV/Chromecast. I can get the mouse to appear and move a put but it will not select anything. The app works brilliantly on my phone, just no way of selecting a stream on my GoogleTV/Chromecast.

are you using tvQuickActions version after fixed for android 12, older versions won't work
and did you setup properly it can be a bit tricky
....it takes a special kind of stupid to add ads into an ad-free app

Yes, I have tried both apps. Mouse toggle at least brings up the Mouse icon which moves around but will not select anything. Can you write an exact guide if you have it working? Frustrated no matter what I try as the app is brilliant on my phone.QuietPlease wrote:mishmac80 wrote:Can anyone please help getting this to work on GoogleTV/Chromecast. Guide credits TheBigOne
Let's start.
I presume you have given all the permissions like
Display over other apps
turned off Energy optimisation and enabled the Accessibility service for tvQuickActions.
Now open the app and go to settings.
Open the ADB selection.
turn on Use ADB for mouse.
now go to Buttons & actions.
Click ad button.
I click on the TV_Input button as my choice.
*Input button must be set to Auto(CEC)
under remote button settings prior
select as Button action type tvQuickActions panel
Now select the button you want to remap. In my case I click on button up.
In the next screen go to the feature tab and select Cursor.
The other buttons can be remapped for whatver you like, such as launching applications.
Close the app and push the TV Input button of your chromecast remote.
Now a panel should come up. Push the up button and your mouse cursor should appear.
For Up or down scrolling just double push the up or down button of the dpad. Middle button (ok) should do the mouse click.
You can set some options for the mouse in the settings of the app. I prefer to close the cursor with the same button I opened it, otherwise it will close after your ok selection.
Hope that my instructions will help you.
