I'm just gonna say what we all are (or should be) thinking: there's gotta be a chance that the person releasing this app isn't the original developer, and is instead a bad actor of some sort. There's got to be a chance that it's either law enforcement trying to 'honeypot' users, or a hacker that got the info and has bad intentions. I'm not tech savvy enough to know how to dig through the app for anything that looks suspicious, but honestly with all the other options out there, I'm not sure I really feel the need to roll the dice at this point. Maybe that's just me though.

Please provide hard evidence proving your theory.

If you're "not tech savvy enough" to provide us with said proof, maybe stop spreading FUD with your paranoid blabber. Provide proof before you accuse, or you're just butt-suming and making an ass out of yourself.

you magically just joined & already spreading lies.........heres a little tip next time want to lie.........i work for my isp provider, although i don't use their ip, in the 19 yrs i have worked there not 1 time have we ever emailed anyone a copyright notice thats not how it works ever smh...the only time we even ever got involved was over 15 yrs ago when a torrent group was posting child porn...and even then what was done was a blocker trap placed on that torrent site & not 1 subscriber ever had access to the torrent site ever again & the site was shut down....you might get copyright notice if own your own website posting certain material but its never from your isp here, its from domain owner so stop spreading lies! this site is for adults & the topic is cinema hd not if you have a manhood capable of challenges

My goodness some of your are such sad little internet tough guys. Well, have at it - rattle your little keyboards as loud as you can if it makes you feel better.

For me, a healthy sense of skepticism has kept me clear of countless pitfalls over the years, and comments voicing concerns like this have helped more than a few others over the years as well, so I'll continue to throw caution to the wind as I see it being appropriate. I've never once said to myself "man, I really wish I hadn't mentioned that red flag" because the worst that ever happens is a bunch of angry apologists (that's you lot) try to sass me for saying things that call into question their precious app or developer. If you want to try to suppress discussion of this nature, show me your admin / mod credentials. Since none of you keyboard warriors will ever be a mod or an admin, you'll excuse me for dismissing your discontent out of hand.

By the way, this app that you're all freaking out to defend isn't even the best-in-class, so you're literally rolling the dice for no good reason at this point. My suggestion? Climb down off of those high horses you're riding around on, go outside, get some clearly-needed fresh air, maybe a bit of perspective to go with it, and then do your research and find one of the numerous apps that outperform Cinema. As a bonus, none of the ones that are current leaders have the weird developer circumstances that Cinema does. Or you can keep flailing around, trying to sling insults at someone trying to help you - the choice is yours. At the end of the day, I can only lead you clowns to water, I can't force you wash off your makeup.
