I have also tried this mod and for some reason it will not work on my nvidia shield. just sits at the splash screen and then finally force closes. Finally just ended up modding this myself and got it to work on my shield. I believe its the method you are using for the signature bypass. I only tested my mod on my shield this morning but will be testing it later on my firestick 4k. Also i just wanted to say im not saying your mod is bad. Works great on my phone, just trying to help to see why its hanging up on some devices.

works ok my shield & neighbors tube shield but there are literally like 7 diff shield models but to be truthfull i hardly use shield anymore not worth even half what cost unless you play games

have you took all shield updates by chance? thats your problem
i rolled mine back had nothing but problems with many apps

I have the 2017 Shield, and yea its been fully updated. Not had any issues on my end before with other mods or apps. I honestly tried quite a few times to get it to actually load but no dice. I ran a few test on my end where the original one works just fine but as soon as i ran the usual signature bypass i use to run when i modded it, it did the same thing. that leads me to believe the bypass is causing it to hang up on some. the splash screen dog changed should not have any affect on the loading of the app.

Mod works fine on the Shield TV 2017 Make sure you do not have it installed on your USB Extended storage
Move the app to your Main shield storage via settings/apps/cinemahd/storage/ move to main system storage and VIOLA!

I had no luck with either the Arm7 or full Mod. Both sit on the splash screen and ultimately crash. The file size on full mod was reported as 59.3 downloaded.

I have to ask since i never heard of this brand one before..I mean ive used chromecast dongle and miracast dongles..but why are people using this Shield thingy? Buy an Android tv and call it a day..lol. Im sure im going to be told its faster clearer picture etc.

Its mostly for gaming but people use it as a streaming device as well

Yes sir that did it! I got with Dog and we got it figured out. Like i was telling him, the mod i did worked on extended storage but im too lazy to do much more then just the basics with it lol. Ill just use his mod. I can verify it works on internal storage and on extended just gets stuck on the splash.
