Google Maps v4.5
Requirements: Available for Android devices running OS 1.6 or above.
Overview: Whether you’re going for an urban hike or wandering from your hotel to find that restaurant you passed earlier, you won’t have to flag down a local if you’ve got Google Maps for mobile 4.5 on Android. Maps already had Navigation and walking directions, and today we’re happy to share the perfect marriage of the two: Walking Navigation (Beta). If you need help deciding where to walk (or drive), you can now also use Street View smart navigation or the new Google Maps search bar to guide your choice

It seems that there's also a Street View on google maps apk on the market, can you upload that here too please?

here is a comment a from android central news post:
"you have to download a separate app called "Street View on Google Maps" from the Market to get the full functionality"

*update*

Found it, here it is.

I can download it but can't install it on my HD2 running Froyo (Darkstone V2) on the SD card :( It always says installed failed.

I can even choose the upgrade option if trying to install via Astro explorer. But also says failed to install :(
