Overview: GPS Notification displays information about your GPS signal strength in your notification bar.

It updates in real time, and gives more detail when you pull down the notification bar.

This application turns on automatically when the GPS is in use, and turns off automatically when the GPS is not in use. There is no need to launch another application, you can just look at your notification bar!

Recent changes:
Satellite preferences begun; enable or disable PRN and Ephemeris, Almanac, and Used info.
By Request, numbers in the status bar can be configured to sats in use vs sats in view
Clicking on the notification goes to the GPS Notification settings screen

Hi,

I'm actually the author of GPS Notification. While I'm glad that people are taking interest in my application, I'm a little upset that people are not willing to pay what is actually the lowest price market allows me to sell the application at. Also, I'm kind of amused at the people saying "Nice release" and "Grats" for someone resharing an application that did not (until a few minutes in the future from now...) contain any sort of market licensing code. I haven't received any emails from you saying "Congrats" or "Nice application."

You might have noticed from the market page that the sales are between 100 and 500. It's really at the 100 end of things. I'm not a large mega-corp, interested in making profits no matter the cost. I'm one developer, and all of the money goes directly to me as an incentive to create future updates and releases, and to help pay my mortgage. I notice a bunch of you say "If you like the app, buy it" but I'd love to know if you actually have; anyone in here who has actually bought my application by this point, and can prove it, I'll give you a refund and let everyone know.

Anyone who is from a country which does not have paid market support yet, and can prove it, please feel free to email me. I will send an official copy to you for your use and provide you official new releases as I make them; it is not your fault you cannot yet actually buy the application.

GPS Notification does not use any of your battery; it works passively.

Anyone encountering issues using GPS Notification who has actually purchased it is more than welcome to email me for support; I'll be glad to try to figure out what problems you're having and work on a way to solve them for you.
