new .fts files are updated on our servers, so please delete your maps folder and download maps again.
then please check search, many things are fixed (search in hungary e.g.)
if we don't find exact address point, we select nearest one and inform user about it.
p.s.: with old .fts maps it could misbehave

please make sure you have newest maps downloaded (please delete sygic/maps folder and download them again)

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Uninstall the previous version and delete the folder Sygic if exist.
1a. For Android < 4.4+ Unzip and copy Sygic folder (basefolder archive) to the root folder (internal storage or SD card)
1b. For Android > 4.4+ Unzip and copy "Android","Maps","Res" from Sygic folder (basefolder archive) to Android/data/com.sygic.aura/files/put here Android,Maps,Res (internal storage or SD card (create, if not exists)
2. Use MapDownloader to download your region country.
3a. For Android < 4.4+ Copy your downloaded maps to folder SDCard/Sygic/Maps/~put maps here~
3b. For Android > 4.4+ Copy your downloaded maps to folder Android/data/com.sygic.aura/files/Maps/~put maps here~
4. Install Patched apk.
5. Start app, skip email and Enjoy!

Compared this instruction to the 1st post...the "SYGIC" folder is included in yours...

But...

his 1b seems to EXCLUDE that folder....unless English is mistaken...that's how I read it... ( 1B is confusing me )

My device: Android 7.1.1 sygic 17.0.7

Search still not working, the app crashes each time when trying to type in the searching box.

What about the others here, is "searching" wworking with you?

Me too with search problem. The arg.fts (arg.ta.2016.12) file is corrupted when I download it from inside Sygic or using Mapsdownloader. Till now it isn't fix.

When I do a search, the application closes...

Now, when I search an address in Argentina, it begins to search but then the app crashes. I have the map of Uruguay and, when I search an address here, it works fine.

I dont understand the reason to include 5 different downloads.

Make the instructions clear as daylight with ELI5 if necessary.

Working. Has some small crashes though. Rebooting the app and saying "Recall last route" works and has no issues.

No maps to delete as tried it on a factory restored phone. I think it's certain versions of Android on certain phones that it doesn't like. I am using a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 on Android v6.0.1 but also tried it on a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 on Android v4.4.4 and Google Pixel XL on Android v7.0.1, all of them crash. Maybe people who are experiencing crashes should start listing the phone make and model and the Android version they are using and we may be able to narrow it down. All the last few versions have done the same for me and I am now using "v16.4.12 Maps 2016.09" and it works flawlessly.

When I try to install noreactivate APP, there is a message that says that there is a conflict as an app with the same name is already installed?
