How to install ownhere version: ROOTING of device is must.
1. In Titanium Backup, click Maps and make a backup.
2. Maps and wipe data , then uninstall.
3. Click Street View and wipe data, then uninstall
4. Delete maps folder i.e sdcard/android/data/google maps folder.
5.Using Root explorer copy and paste( Click on R/W to R/O) moded “maps 5.6.0-ownhere.apk” NOT maps5.6.0-ownhere-resign.apk in System/App folder.
6. Go to market, and reinst street view.
7.Restart mobile n click on navigation Blue arrow above immediately after search (direction from n to) in google maps.

There are two choice, if some one using ADB, they need wonhere and who want to install with mobile itself, they can use resign pack

Please explain people wich apk need install after uninstall system Google Maps: Gogle Maps Ownhere resign, or only resign apk (without ownhere) ???

There are two method to install this SW, you can select either of this two
One is
install ownhere-resign pack(maps5.6.0 ownhere-resign.apk)
second is ADB OR with Root file explorer
which req ownhere only (maps5.6.0 - ownhere.apk)

Please, fix the 2nd title (the titles must be the same), add [break ] after your image and remember that:
Only direct links to filehosts will be accepted. In other words do not post a link to a secondary page that will display the link(s) (and show ads or list multiple links at the same time). Just post that link.
So like multiupload are deleted.

How to inst re-sign version:

Just for others that are having problems installing, i found that a re-boot after step 3. worked for me.
