worked after doing the ff:

use root explorer
rename to Maps.apk
go to system/app
mount folder as read/write
copy Maps.apk to system/app
change Maps.apk permissions to
owner read/write
group read
others read
press ok
reboot
it will be intalled automatically after reboot

Thanks a lot. It worked for me...which street view I have to install from market? I searched the market, but there were several street views and no google street view?
