I installed the apk and downloaded the maps from the app. They aren't updated. How can download the maps of 2019? I'm sorry, i'm new of all this...i also would like to understand what is the function of the base folder.

As they state they are trying for June 2019 as a release official date.

It might be July.

That is why you are still getting the 2018.12 maps

They are just as good...........

For those that keep going on about traffic.

You want Traffic then buy it.
or
Use the free clone Sygic it comes with Traffic and be done with it.

Yes, the FINAL(18.0.x) ONLY downloads the 2018.12 maps.

The BETA(18.1.x) downloads the NEWER 2019.03 maps automatically.

Your choice....

I have Sygic (free from Play store) on my Xiaomi phone and there is no any Sygic folder on Internal storage.
Use Spain and Cyprus downloaded maps, but they are not on my phone internal storage...
I do not use SD card...just 2 SIM cards...no SD card slot
So..is that mean that I cannot use this version of Sygic?

Yes you can.
"For Android > 4.4+ Extract and copy folder com.sygic.aura to SDCard/Android/data/ on your root of Internal Storage" just like Google Play version does. That's where you have maps and other files used by Sygic.
