i am a bit confused. you are using 1.10.6? this thread only vas 1.10.4 patched version and this is the version that works for me. where did the 1.10
6 version come from?

I have both version 1.10.4 & 1.10.6 both of which I obtained from the XDA developers website. I installed V1.10.4 on my S6 and later found v1.10.6 which I tried on my Samsung tablet. I tried several times with this version to create the necessary directories but without success then I uninstalled that version and tried V1.10.4 with the same results. So now the only way forward is for me to root the tablet to see if in doing so I will be able to view the same directories when connected to my laptop as those that are displayed when setting up MM tracker. If you want me to send you V1.10.6 I am happy to do so but not sure how to attach the file on this website, or if you want to pm me with your email address I will forward it to you.

Hey, TheRipper... I tried 1.10.6 and it loaded the map I sent you successfully on my Android 4.2 phone. So either this is a kitkat issue or you have a problem with your device itself. Have you tried to use a different folder name and location for the maps? Because something screwy is happening and as the maps are good and the v1.10.6 seems to work with the maps on my phone the bug in the bedpile seems to be something to do with your device, I would suggest. Have you tried the older version 1.10.4? Anyway, good hunting.

Yes that makes sense. (The only difference I can see is that I am not using android kitkat 4.4 but android v4.2.)

I will look at os50_1 and os50_3 with a hex editor and see what the difference is and let you know if I find anything useful.

UPDATE
I have installed Alpinequest which also reads qct files and that wouldn't loade the map you sent either then i realised that there was a discrepancy with the map files. I have taken a screenshot to show you.



The one circled as land works the one circled as null does not

It seems like all the null files don't work!
I'm going to try taking the micro-sd card out and copy them across using the computer/

Your map files DO seem corrupted somehow.

Here are the two headers from os50 map 2 (left) and map 3 (right)



As you can see apart from the dates and the map names there is nothing different to cause map 3 to be 'wrong'.

Hope your fresh copy works.

Have just tried copying working maps from hard disk to card reader on laptop, Put it back in phone and Alpinequest says all the maps I copied over were Null and wouldn't load.

I think we may have it sussed. formatted SD card put maps onto it and Memory map now opens them, all I have to do now is copy back all the android files and put it back in the phone and see what happens.
