- v20.9.4 (arm64-v8a) size over 90 MB
quite noticeable difference, isn't it?

Sign Recognition is the latest technological feat in Sygic GPS Navigation. It uses your phone's camera to detect speed limit signs on the road. This allows you to drive with up-to-date speed information, even during road works or temporary traffic restrictions.

It will take some time to cut any fat out of the app.

Sygic is always adding new items in that no one will every use.
This is just one in a series of items that have add that no one ever uses.

Examples:

How many users are using Cockpit , Dashcam , Head-up Display (HUD) , Photo navigation , Real View Navigation , Real-time Route Sharing just to name a couple of toys that maybe 1 or 2 users use.

What would be good if you are download this from Google as a paid subscription app that you are given the options as to what items you want to be installed with the app.
Not give you all these items you do not need.

The more items added to the app only makes it fatter and fatter.
Sygic needs to spend more time on making it the best GPS app out there and forget all these extras.

Plus this new option does not work to well with old smartphones they are to slow and not the best cameras.

You will need a very good fast smartphone and camera to pickup the street sign before you pass them.

Sygic devs forgot to remove the *.raw files from the assets folder when they built the apk. These can be safely deleted, then the apk aligned and resigned and the app will work fine. That's why this version is larger.

Android Auto looks at what app's were installed in vendor mode (via package manager logs) - it's nothing do do with Sygic how you install it, that's all down to how package manager logs how an app was installed. You need to use ABD and install an apk in vendor mode for package manager to think it was installed via the app store(aka vendor mode). If you do that when AA checks how your app was installed - it will see it was installed in vendor mode.

People need to learn how to use their phones, and what package manager actually does - before blaming modders. Also try reading - this is explained in near enough every Sygic post and has literally been asked thousands of times already, it gets tiresome reading these type of posts, never mind replying to them.

We are appreciated modders great works. It's not about blaming them. It's just not working for some people. AA used to work for me and somehow it doesn't anymore. I tried adb method and also when I checked there the app was installed from' it showed com.vending.sygic. Maybe some system cache file messed up, I don't know. I will reinstall the rom I have again after formatting the phone to see the result.

It`s not working for me, but in my case position never updates once I start directions. If I leave it to passively track my position it does so. Previously Sygic worked perfectly.
