I must apologize as I replied to your previous comment in confusion; I thought you were talking about a location provider issue, but not a Google Maps issue.

Google Maps (what you meant by « Satellite ») can only work if GApps is installed and enabled. This assumes that the Gstore is also installed with the same certificate signing.
With this version of Aura, the minimum required version must have a version code greater than 12451 x 1000. A very old one.
I did a test by installing GApps via Magisk on 2 devices: LOS 18.1 based and LOS 19.1 based.
On both devices, GMaps (Satellite) works well.
I guess Balatan, as many here may do, blindly fixed the availability of GMS: just an int to be 0 somewhere.
Such a patch can only cause problems on devices without GApps like mine. Although a little extra code can fix the deleterious consequences of such a return 0, it's nonsense to fix what shouldn't be.
Finally, I guess there is something wrong or unusual with your GApps installation.
