A. Android 4.4 (kitKat) doesn't support to write on external SD card.
Q. Why can't use with Russian Locale?

▼If you can't activate the PRO-KEY, try the following.
Make sure that your device is connected to the internet and logged into Google.
Confirm that PRO-KEY is installed in System Settings.
Click Menu - Preferences - Activate PRO-KEY.
reboot the device and start Jota+.
uninstall and re-install Jota+ or PRO-KEY.
- If you're donor of Jota Text Editor, install the original Jota
and click Menu - Preferences - MISC - Activate Jota+ option.
- If you have troubles with the activation, please send an email to the developer.

Instructions:

2. Run Jota+, and force stop the Jota+ in System setting/App info screen

Why don't just patch it over the original app?
Is it becoz the app check for its own signature again?

this isn't a patch, it's the app Jotacrk that cracks the app and because the jotacrk needs root then non-root users can't install it.

I think it means that it's detecting Lucky Patcher or Freedom in your system and because of this refuses to work.

FYI, I am using stock ROM JB 4.2, LP 5.60, PS mod, Xposed, and it is working fine till now.

this isn't a patch, it's the app Jotacrk that cracks the app and because the jotacrk needs root then non-root users can't install it.

The point is to have the main apk patched, so we don't need extra app again. Just like the previous version 2014_14 is prepatched. So I can install it on unrooted device (no need to install seperate jotacrk app anymore). But of course 2014_14 version is not working anymore, as it prompt to update to the new version on every start.
But it is ok. All my device are rooted anyway. It is for my friends who don't want to root. Thanks
