I was not able to install this version on my HTC Desire, I get the message "Application not installed" - can I make something to get it work?
The other version worked but then again as it's known the license key is needed.

If you like a paid app you downloaded from Mobilism, think about buying it from market. That way you will support the developer, and encourage him to continue developing and improving the app you love so much.

I always do but at $14.99 that's some expensive app. I would stick with jjcomics for now.

Definitely....14.99 is way too overpriced for a glorified image reader.

Hey thanks! I really appreciate that :)

For those who are worried about the price, the android lets you return an app before 24 hours are up, no questions asked. Its mostly just a huge nuisance to me, but maybe this ONE time, you can actually use it for its intended purpose!

Try it out, see what you think. With the lens, the animated page turning, and even the ability to stream your comics from your computer(through a webdav server), not to mention the fact that it remembers your spot in whatever series your reading. I'm sure you'll agree its worth it :)

Ironically, the part you seem to value the least has been the most difficult task!
Google has a rather draconian 15mb ram limit for each app. And when it takes 4mb to store the current image, 4mb to store the next image, 4mb to open a rar file, and 4mb to extract the pixels and examine them. Well, you're app just crashed because its out of memory :(

Its been nothing but a nightmare to develop on, and having to figure out how to implement 15 year old libraries just to get the same functionality I get for free on every other phone, has been frustrating to say the least. I swear, sometimes I feel like they're just screwing with me on purpose. Hell, I still haven't figured out how to c++ exceptions to work right :(

honestly, if Google's API didn't suck so badly, I would have had this out a long time ago. And I'd probably even be open to lowering the price. As it stands, I already feel like I'm underselling it...

anyway... *ends rant*

It is more than that, please. Compare this to other comic readers for our handhelds and they pale in comparison to this program.

Folks, yes the price is steep by Marketplace standards but this developer actually fixes your problems. He actually listens and responds to your issues. I write this steep price off as my lifetime tech support fee. Do you get this from other larger development outfits? Maybe some canned response that they will log your issue and get back to you, blah, blah, blah.

I paid for this app on WinMo and I paid for it again on Android. I never even thought twice about it. Some things are no brainers. And if you like reading comics on your phone buying this program is a no brainer.

Again, if you like it, buy it. It keeps development moving. It will make the product bullet proof on our phones with future upgrades and carrier tweaks to the OS.

Reading this depresses me too much. Please tell me iOS is worse in regards to development. No wonder Android is still seeing a gap in applications even though it is selling like crazy.
