The sms would be sent automatically without any user intervention. For call, at set time, a reminder would pop-up allowing you to call now, snooze, re-schedule or dismiss the reminder. The default call snooze time is 5min. Long pressing the snooze provides option to call again after 5min, 10min, 15min, 30min, 45min or 1hr. If missed call notification is turned on, missed call pop-up gives you options to return the call now, after a while (snooze), schedule for later or dismiss the notification.
Settings allow automatic sending of birthday sms to your mobile phone contacts having birthday event. You can personalize birthday message. If not entered, a pre-installed birthday message is used. You can automatically set birthday call reminders. Call time decides the time of call on birthday. Settings can turn on-off missed call notification.
If the phone is turned off, the due scheduled sms/call are done as soon as the phone is turned on next time.

9) Schedule sms/call once or with a repetition of minutely, hourly, daily, weekly, monthly or yearly. Set repeat frequency and also specify date and time to end the repetition
10) SMS/Call classified as Scheduled, History or Draft. Sent sms status changes green when delivered
11) If your phone software allows swipe left on call log to send sms, this application is shown as one of the options for complete action using dialog, allowing to schedule sms/call to that particular caller directly. This is not possible Android 4.4 (KitKat) onwards which introduces concept of a default SMS app
12) Automatic syncing phone contacts without user intervention
