I contacted the developer and he told me it's because of:
1) Xposed
2) Magisk.

In case you're using Magisk, hide Magisk for Moon+ Reader. It worked for me after months not being able to use this app because of this freezing after launching the app.

Any chance of the untouched, please?

This might seem like a daft question but what are the differences in the Patched and Mod versions? Anyone know?

same problem with Alexzkter
cant find Magink or Xposed on my phone (i think i dont have any of those)
its irritating everytime it freezes. HELP!
