The last version of this posted (version 2.4.2) on this forum had certain devices bricking

is this version doing the same

(I have an asus transformer and don't want to brick it just for saving 3 quid!)

Yep, started FCing on me too once I updated my Sensation to ICS. The unmodded free version from the market (with the same version number) works though.
