Well, I'll try to explain why:

If you use office to edit/write documents on your phone (most people won't because of the time lost with small screen/keyboard), then Polaris is not for you. You should stick with other alternatives having nicer UI.

If, like most people, your main goal on the phone is to read documents and keep original source formatting with docx files, then this is the best application ever. All others, include the most expensive ones, suck, and I tried them ALL with many template files for my work. So I know what I'm talking about

Finally, if you bother searching, you'll see that there's an edit mode to make basic doc editing on the go, like small rapid corrections/annotations. But again, it's not as some other commercial alternatives. It's built for phones, with viewing and small editing in mind.

As of your phone, it comes stock with only a few phones, mainly Samsung, not others. So many people will be happy to get it

Now, everyone can choose depending on his needs.

@ jonny_ftm : Very well said. I can't thanks this Polaris Office app enough for making my life easier, able to view all my docs perfectly. I had it preinstalled on LG G2x, but when I switch to Cyanogenmod, found out it's not available on market. Thanks you for sharing this wonderful app.

Its working with the lib file "libpolarisoffice.so", but it gives a message that this program is made for another phone model
