How to install it? Do I need to copy files to some directory on my android? (does it need to be rooted?) I never saw that kind of app package.

Just install the application and browse the files on your device using the app!
It doesn't require root and you can copy your files to any folder on your android device.

What to install? Archive that I downloaded from download link contains already unpacked files.
There is no apk executable file to install the application.
Do I need to install it from market and replace those files?

The archive contains this files and folders:

    assets DIR
    META-INF DIR
    res DIR
    AndroidManifest.xml
    classes.dex
    com.amazon.content.id.MC-S-1F80A57RHQM5L
    kiwi
    resources.arsc

Do I need to create apk file from it?

Please explain it like you would to a child :)

Just DL .apk package from OP. It properly installs (on my Honeycomb TF101) just tapping on it from file manager.

It's a simple problem that occurs when you download a file from these file hosts like filesonic, fileserve & wupload.
and the solution is to change the extension to the original one ;).
