Serious question and not trying to be provocative, why do people care if an app is mod lite? APK files are tiny, even ancient phones should be able to handle them without issue. So what does it matter?

Some people like stuff like:
Trackers Removed
Analytics Removed
Crash Handlers Removed
and there can be lots of other stuff as will.

Serious question and not trying to be provocative, why do people care if an app is mod lite? APK files are tiny, even ancient phones should be able to handle them without issue. So what does it matter?

Personally I prefer the lite versions when available as that removes those features primarily inserted for the developer not for the user. These parts only add (needlessly for my purposes) to memory footprint and resource usage. I appreciate the additional time and effort that is expended to make the mod lite apps without these "features" included.

Doesn't work for me. I select the account click Next then Authenticating flashes up and I'm retuned to the same screen. No problem adding an Outlook account

Try clearing Cache and Data for AquaMail
Uninstall reboot
Then Install and add account gmail

The above has been tried and have worked on for AquaMail... On diff. Devices
