While this apk says it's "Premium" it doesn't seem to be "Anylist Complete" so if you create an online account, it says "basic", which means you can't backup or use any of the web functionality. There is no Anylist Premium listed on its website. Only the free version and the update to "Complete". Did I do something wrong? Anyone?

Of course you can't use premium functions on web app or desktopnapp, this app is patched only, your account isn't upgraded to premium so whatever this app can offer you in Subscribed form locally, this will do it not the server stuff.

There's no app on mobilism or anywhere where you can access premium features on webapp or desktop app too (some exceptions are always there though ). Your membership doesn't get upgraded in real time, it's just for local usage. In many cases if the features are server based, then you can't even use them in your phone. All premium functions mentioned in the app that can be used on app only are all unlocked and that's why the title has "Premium" in it.

"Other than the app's paid features"? This is what unlocking accomplishes, other than stopping ads. I've already enumerated the features that are not unlocked in my previous comments. I appreciate that you've posted this apk and it is useful with your mods. It's also important to provide accurate info to all in the OP.

And btw: the app I mentioned as an example definitely works online via the modded apk on the phone OR PC via the web when logging on via the account created on the app.
