Said same on my MyTouch 3G. Found this comment on their site:
"We did add copyright protection on our application, however, only users with developer phones will not be able to access to applications with copyright protection."

My phone isn't rooted but maybe installing downloaded apks has something to do with it?

Makes me sad. :( I'm stuck with office suite and it's blinding me reading at night.

Nor would 1.2.6.1 install on a HTC Magic / G2 running Android 1.5, non-rooted.
Thanks, though.

When trying to install v1.2.6.1 using adb:
Code: Select allcarbonyle@ubuntu-desktop:~$ ./adb install /home/carbonyle/Téléchargements/Aldiko_Premium_v1.2.6.1.apk
1002 KB/s (699179 bytes in 0.681s)
   pkg: /data/local/tmp/Aldiko_Premium_v1.2.6.1.apk
Failure [INSTALL_PARSE_FAILED_NO_CERTIFICATES]

But v.1.2.4 is fine:
Code: Select allcarbonyle@ubuntu-desktop:~$ ./adb install /home/carbonyle/Téléchargements/aldiko.apk
1070 KB/s (1001797 bytes in 0.914s)
   pkg: /data/local/tmp/aldiko.apk
Success

Seems to be a problem with certificates

Note: HTC Hero running aHero 0.6 (= 2.1) (of course rooted, hacked spl, and recovery image)
