Yes, SS, the trial version installer is not the same as the full version installer. The licence generator will only work on the full version. We don't have the full 1.9 setup installer as yet. This is why we need to copy the installed folder to the pc.
The original link includes this folder and two ways to get it working. (1) use the licence generator (but not on a trial version),or (2) use the Batch file/crack on the folder (actually it changes the registry). Both these methods work and are included in the original download.
Your method seems to be the second method using the Chinese 'crack/batch' method I included with my original post but you are using it on the 'trial' version of B4A. If this works that is great, and I will try it out. But beware because the man who created B4A is very clever and impressively devious. We have seen many different and subtle methods from him for screwing up our pirate versions. In all cases the program reports it is the full, licenced version. But often it doesn't work correctly. You only realise this when you find your project was saved as binary junk rather than your original code.
The trial version has bult-in limitations, too, like not allowing use of 3rd party libraries and only one code module. So check thoroughly before you start any important project that your version IS not nobbled and useless. The trial version has never been of use to us in the past so if your method works it will be very helpful.

Until you have proved out this method I suggest people use my original post which copies across the Basic4Android install folder created by a genuine version of B4A and then registers it using one of the two methods I give.
The licence generator DOES work when used with the Basic4Android folder from a FULL version (which is included in my post) and the ALTERNATIVE method is the Chinese batch/crack method, also to be used with the Basic4Android folder.
