dumb question. how do you install this? there is an .msi file & Bluestacks folder in this download. the .msi file wont install. says something about smartscreen protection. do i use something inside the Bluestacks folder instead?

Might try disabling smartscreen.

My problem is not being able to add a google account, installed google services, but still no luck, any ideas anyone?

ok will try that but why is it an .msi file & not an .exe? as for your problem, it might be because it's an offline install

possibly, thanks.

.msi = micro soft installer, just another form of executable installer file.

You can only use the Play store on real devices as far as I know. Try AppBrain or another Google Play alternative.

hmmm... just tried this out. I like it but not rooted for some reason.

EDIT: I was either drunk or misinformed (or both) as the Play Store DOES work under emulators. SORRY if I mislead anybody.

Fixed all my initial problems by totally uninstalling any previous versions, getting rid of settings and installed apps too, all working fine now, access to play store etc functioning as it should.

Edit: root working AOK too.

Finally figured out how to get root. I'd read this before but forgot that AMD must use UPDATE-Superuser-v3.2a.zip and not SuperSU. After many hours & a couple of nights finally saw this note again. Rooted original .msi w/this using BS Easy v2.4 - worked the first time for me. Just search for the exact filename and you will find it.
