Anybody else have a problem with this app (not this version nor release by Sir Balatan specifically) but I mean this app in general intermittently "forgetting" all your contacts so you have to import them again then display them again? Been going on for me for years, different versions & different phones, and just happened again today so am wondering if any of you guys have that happen to you also and if you may have figured out what was causing that and how to prevent it... Cheers

Same issue here, last good version for me is v2.0.15, never once has it done that forgetting your contacts thing but two versions since do so I just stick to V2.0.15

No such problem ever encountered with . . . True Phone Dialer.

Any chance this will record calls on Android 11 MIUI 12.5? When i try enabling call recording within the app, nothing heppens. it does not create any audio files in the destination folder.

Can't comment on the MIUI 12.5 . . . it sure does record calls for me on the OnePlus 6 with Android-11.

Please note . . . my device is rooted and I had to flash @Balatan's Magisk module (available also on the OP) to make my recording work.

Recorded media files are stored at the following directory in .wav format:—

Records are stored in "/storage/emulated/0/data/CallRecords-TP" this is the full path.
And it can create audio file (output can be set to: AMR, M4A, WAV). I use it on Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro and yes MIUI 12.5...
But still - it's a little tricky anyway. You have to give application a full bunch of settings, autostart, no saving energy and so on and one of the most important is in "Accessibility" (I hope so - EN is not mine native language in phone). App ask for it anyway, when you start recording in automatic mode. If you do so - it can still record only silence - and I noticed why. Problem is - you have to pick up phone as usual - and nothing else. There is a bug or something in light sensor (some say - that Redmi use for this purpose front camera, maybe this is the issue). If you look at display - from this point - is silence on record. And same happens, when you try lock phone during call. When you respect this restrictions, this is the way - how you can record call. And - no, other side is not aware of any sign that that call is recorded.

When i pick up phone as normal, does that mean it won't record if I am using bluetooth?

Also, if I pick up the phone, and use it, phone screen turns off automatically as I place it to my ear. Will this stop recording?

so when you say, look it it, you mean that i should pick up phone and put it to my ear, and keep it there to keep recording, and not look at the front of the screen?

My test with bluetooth was only once and not very successful so - I have little experiences with it.

This way I can record call with True Phone, only loudness is various - depends on the loudness on other side of call, but listening with headphones solves that not so loud record if you need to.

But sometimes - you don't pick up call "the right way", it can happen, probably light detection sensor problem or so - I've mentioned that issue before.
The procedure is true for Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro

This app dose not seem to work even when set as default app on s21+. I have it set as the default phone app and the Samsung phone app is being used.

Got it to be default but I cant just get a full screen pic on incoming call. I get a bubble at top with answer or hang up and if I tap that then get full screen. Anyway to JUST get full screen on incoming?
