Overview: You love your Android phone as much as we do? You SMS all the time? Want more features? Then chompSMS is for you, with lots of extra features like chat-style bubbles, contact pictures, quick reply, signatures, heaps of customizations, and more!
You can use chompSMS as a replacement to the built-in Messaging application, and send SMS messages via your mobile carrier as you normally do. Or, if your mobile carrier charges a lot, you can buy credits to send SMS messages via the chompSMS network, which can be much cheaper.

* The chompSMS Security Pattern Lock has been enhanced further to also prevent users from opening the built in Messaging application - so MORE security from prying eyes!
* Using the open icon from the chompSMS Widget we now honor the chompSMS Security Pattern Lock.
* Added a new white notification icon, looks very nice on phones with a dark status bar, like the HTC Hero.
* When using Quick Compose or Quick Reply features, you'll no longer lose any text you have typed if interrupted with other events like an alarm clock or a phone call.
* For the Quick Reply feature, you can now configure it to also just pop-up *after unlocking* the phone as well as the existing locked and unlocked modes. This way your phone can stay locked and screen off, and only when you unlock would the Quick Reply appear for you to conveniently reply. Or you can simply turn off Quick Reply and use the Widget instead!
* In the settings, Support Us screen we now show a URL bar so that users can see it's a PayPal secured HTTPS donation page.
* Improved Widget graphics, better gradients etc. (will not appear until reboot, or recreate Widget)
* Added Portuguese Language support.
* Fixed a number of Force Close issues. Thanks to those users who took the time to work with us to locate these.
