I just don't understand things like this...

Why install a free app from a third party and not get updates on it when you can get it for free and get every little update as it comes?

I guess I'll state again that I (and probably other people) have problems connecting to Market. However, for this particular release, it is a bit superfluous as the developers have themselves released an apk available for download on their website as they are having Market issues as well.

I still see no major point to this post. But who am I to bother with such come to think of it, thus I guess I take back what I said.

I did encounter an issue with the market at one time and came here to download a free app. I encourage posting free apps.

You also have to remember, not everyone can download from the market.

I have come here for years to get mobile software and one of the benefits is usually if the software is found here it sort of has a seal of quality. Being listed here generally means the software is fairly well known and works fairly well, If it is crappy then it is usually not found here.

New times with iPhone and Android apps being so cheap, so less critical need to have eval copies here but hopefully we can still find value in listing even freeware and having a place to post how well it works on this phone or that or have issues or not.
