Enhanced SMS & Caller ID v1.99.3
Requirements: Android version 2.1 and higher
Overview: Provides voice notifications for incoming callers, incoming SMS messages, new Gmail messages and event reminders for your Google Calendar.
* Talking caller id (once or loop)
* Caller ID over call waiting
* Reads your incoming SMS messages (Shake to stop reading).
* Reads your messages a configurable number of times with a configurable delay between readings.
* Can be configured to only read SMS senders' name or nickname if sender is in your contacts.
* Screen SMS messages from senders that are not in your contacts.
* Can be configured to reads the incoming callers name, nickname or number. Name and Nickname feature require the caller be a saved Google contact.
* Obeys your ringer settings! Silent ringer disables voice notifications. Ignoring an incoming call also disables the voice notifications.
* Gmail notifications (brief snippet or subject).
* Google calendar event reminder notifications (NEW)
* Screen unknown and/or private callers. Unknown callers are those callers not in your contacts, while private callers are callers that block their phone numbers.
* Uses your Google contacts to retrieve name/nickname of contact. (Does not use SIM contacts)
* English/Spanish localization.
* Can start on phone power on.
* Streams through a wired or wireless headset (Bluetooth headsets require A2DP compatibility, other bluetooth headsets will not work).
* SMS dictionary for you store your abbreviated words and their longer meanings to make reading SMS messages less cryptic.
* Homescreen widget for quick enable/disable of Caller, SMS, calendar and Gmail notifications.
* Quiet Time Feature (set up a defined time interval to have speech notifications turn off)
* Lots of other configuration options for you to play with.

NOTE TO USERS OF GOOGLE VOICE: This app may not read SMS messages received to your GOOGLE VOICE number. We hope to support this in the future.
