Total Recall Call Recorder v1.6.8
Requirements: Android
Overview: Record Important Calls & Voice Notes Easily & Automatically!
Image

Image

Call Recorder App that is Feature Packed & Easy to Use! Features Powerful Call Recorder Features but also works great as a simple Voice Recorder (Dictaphone). Automatically record all or only some calls. Record voice notes, or trigger remote audio recording via SMS. Manually record on the fly and much more! The most popular call recorder for Symbian/S60 devices is now the BEST Voice & Call Recorder for Android.

NOTE: The ability to record both sides of the call is not possible on all Android devices. Some devices will only record the caller audio at very low levels (from the mic), others will record both sides of the call perfectly, while others simply will not record. This has nothing to do with the Total Recall Call Recorder and with your specific device. Also, due to system limitations, if your device runs low on resources, the call will not record, so it's suggested to minimize apps running in the background when using Total Recall.

Will NOT record Calls On the Motorola Droid, Droid X, Droid 2, Many Galaxy Variants and other devices. Some devices will not record calls while using a Bluetooth Headset.

Devices that have had users confirm two side call recording are (but not limited to)

- Acer Liquid 100
- Droid Eris
- Droid Incredible (may require speakerphone)
- G1
- General Mobile DSTL1
- HTC Evo
- HTC Dream

*** You may wonder what makes Total Recall stand apart from other Android Call Recorders. It's simple, we listen to our user's feedback and use this to tweak the app to run better on different Android devices. Each and every email we receive (and we get quite a few!) is read and replied to, and in most cases used to keep making Total Recall the best Call Recorder app ever. So please give us YOUR feedback and together we'll build even more Killer Mobile apps. ***

I've installed this and having a few problems recording ALL phone calls..
When opened, i've set/enabled the following settings:
- "BOTH" for Incoming and Outgoing phone calls.
- "Auto start on phone boot".
- "Use the contacts name in the records name if present".

But the problem is it never records phone calls from people who are not in the address book, example: The phone rings, caller ID shows 1234567890, however there will be no recording. If it rings and shows "John Smith", there will be a 3GP file on the SD Card..

I've tried both recording strategy "A" and "B".

Any suggestions on how to "best" set this up? Can anyone list which settings should be on, so that all incoming and outgoing phone calls are recorded? (:

I have an HTC WildFire A3333. :(

Thank you VERY much in advance. :)
