K-@ Mail uses the following permissions:
★ Network communication - full network access: retrieve, send, delete, update emails
★ Network communication - view network connections: enable/disable account synchronization depending on the availability and the type of the network connection
★ Network communication - Google Play license check: used to check the license of the Pro version
★ Sync Settings - read sync settings: enable/disable account synchronization depending on the background synchronization settings of the device
★ Your applications information - run at startup: scheduled polling and push email is started after the device has booted
★ Your social information - read your contacts: use contacts as recipients for emails
★ Your social information - modify your contacts: create contacts from recipient and sender fields
★ Your social information - activity recognition: used to notify incoming emails using text-to-speech based on the user's activity (walking, driving, running etc.).
★ Your accounts - find accounts on the device: used to populate the account setup screen with the default email account (only first account)
★ Affects Battery - control vibration: emails can be notified by vibration
★ Affects Battery - prevent device from sleeping: the device needs to be awake when emails are polled on a scheduled basis or pushed by the server

Handles "Doze mode" on newer Android devices more gracefully. Doze mode was the cause of the app showing the "syncing disabled" message and preventing it from syncing mails in the background.

Added floating action buttons (compose and reply). This gives an extra action button in the menu bar.
All action button icons have been changed to be compliant with material design guidelines.

My favourite email app. However, this apk does not connect to any of my email accounts.

Sadly this isn't working for me either .. no account is accepted (Unregisterd On API Console). Gotta be something wrong with the patch !?

Works fine here I already connected to my Hotmail without any issue , thanks for sharing

Problem is with the app nothing to do with patch. I tried the untouched apk and same result.

Does not install over previous version. Im willing to uninstall previous version, but can not find the settings backup on app.
Can some one let me know how to backup settings.......Thanks

first of all I am not sure if this is fake version because in Playstore the latest update is dated from July 2017
and this is version 1.15

back to your questions: go to settings (3 dots opens a window then go to settings) - you will see a grey line at the bottom with a arrow up and a arrow down.
arrow up is for backup and arrow down for restore

Another vote for fake version, K@ looks like dead project as dev support doesn't respond.

I had major issues with 1.15 not syncing properly on Nougat and this never has been fixed for a year.
Aqua Mail synces perfectly so this is indeed still not handled obsoleteness of K-@.

I am still happy with version 1.15 on KitKat but I don't know for how long that is going to last

One more side consideration, guys: What a stupid name they choose for such a nice app!!!

K-@ Mail, a short name that includes 2 symbols, a name that you cannot possibly locate effectively in any search engine, most people don't know that it's pronounced Katmail and even more people don't know the proper spelling of the app name!

Hell, I don't even know if I am spelling right myself

I must however admit that I like the granular configuration of all K9 clones... And there are many of them out there!

I WAS a big fan of AquaMail, BUT until Mobisystems bought this app, i left this project.
Mobisystems isn´t serious, i don´t know what they are doing with my datas.

So ProfiMail Go rocks, a little oldschool look but works great and reliable.
Give it a try!
