Yep I have also observed the same thing.. like i get notification of new sms but when i click .. nothing open's

Apkmos, looks like working, but there is app request to upload my phone book, for faster search (on Batalan versions - no such request).

Yes, it's safe, but as I mentioned above, there is a request for permission that is not really acceptable to me.
All the time, only truecaller prommised not to use or upload your data\phonebook on their cloud space....
