He might embedded his malicious code

I don't trust it either but that's not something balatant typically does. An explanation is definitely par for the course. Playstore version is only 9.2mb so I don't see how the Google api requirement is to blame or relevant to the increased size of this modded one. Something else suspicious is 4.16 is the official version. Does 4.17 even exist? Probably best to air on the side of caution and report this one

In all these years, Balatan's releases have always been clean and -I believe- among the best in this forum.
I'd find it very hard to believe something like that has suddenly happened!

I 've noticed a similar increase in size with your latest release of Nine Email.

I suppose this means we 'll start seeing this in more and more apks from now on...
