I got 4 bans already on the last update that had "Anti-Ban Improvement" which went away when I downgraded. I've read that a 5th ban could be a perma ban...
Waiting for atleast another 24 hours to see if this one sticks first.

What you've read is incorrect — I've already received more than 5 temporary bans from the last 2 Fouad versions.

The screenshot attached here is from the latest 9.63.

How would one go about testing?

Using File Explorer, select any video from your device which is well over 16MB and transmit it to around 25 recipients (these can be Individuals or even Groups.)

If you receive a temporary ban, you'll encounter the 1-hour countdown illustrated above and won't be able to use WhatsApp until the countdown is over.

On the telegram group of FM it says that you have to make a full backup of the app
Re-do the SMS activation thingy, and then reinstall this last update. Thats the only way the new antiban works. Re-activate whatsapp and restore full backup @gamencode

Just tried it, got a ban 4 hour later

Time to goto YMWhatsApp for now
anti ban seem to be fixed for that version.

Got banned again for an hour. And I have no idea why. I send a message to a not-saved contact through a WhatsApp link on a website for a job application. I only sent one message and it had proper language. Why am I banned?

It's now v9.65 — have been using this update heavily over the last 40 minutes . . . it's been working fine so far, without attracting a ban.

Not sure how long this honeymoon will last — the changelog though, looks quite encouraging:—
