I also get app not installed problem.
Have tried to remove orphan data using TB, but no luck. (I ever installed the PS version before)
Check all possible orphan data in every possible place (/data/data, /data/app, /sdcard/.androidsecure, etc), no hope.
Try to install from PS, got 2.6.3 and no error. But when I tried to bypass the IAP through freedom, it doesn't work.
It tell me to uninstall the App UI Designer before proceed on purchasing.
This lead me into thinking that the patched version has conflict with the original App UI Designer.

Browse to patched apk using rotex, found out the androidmanifest is using the same sharedUserId with another app from the same dev.
In my case, I have App UI Designer 1.0.4 installed. I check the app, also have the same SharedUserId.
FYI, SharedUserId is used for the dev who want to cross access the app data, so two different app can access the same data folder with the shared permission (which is forbidden by default). The problem is all app using the same SharedUserId must be signed using the same certificate. See this http://stackoverflow.com/questions/16269956/two-app-with-shared-userid

So, I uninstalled the App UI Designer (and u need to uninstalled all app from the same dev also, appfour). Then installed the patched version. Works flawlessly! Yay.....
I tried to install the original App UI Designer again, now getting the same error : "App not installed".
Basically, I need to install the App UI Designer which has been signed using the same certificate with this patched apk.
Maybe symos can help us to sign the App UI Designer using the same certificate?
