This app uses the Device Administrator permission.
The reason is effective CAPTCHA (a feature to make sure you wake up in the morning) so you cannot avoid alarms by uninstalling the app during an alarm.

I have the Wear OS companion app for Sleep as Android. Can I send it to you to please resign it with the same signature as your mod and upload it? I want to try and sideload it onto my watch and see if it will work.

Pretty sure there is a false positive due to the geo location api call, at least that is what it looks like to me when I scan this at virustotal.com. If you have more substantial evidence of malware please share it as it is important to know.

Yeah all i got was a singular false positive on virustotal too
Looks clean to me but as always scan everything. Better safe than sorry.

no, but Balatan did upload a working copy of Sleep Cycle which contains both the phone and the Wear Os apks. I installed both of them and they work well together.

Hard to judge it's accuracy, I'm asleep.

It makes no difference which order you install. when you go into the profile menu and settings for watch, they automatically pair.

it seems that the wear os app is only effectively a remote control for starting the sleep tracking

the phone is doing all the analysis

i think that sleep as android uses the watch hr etc
