I was wondering if this slows down the phone a good bit? I am using a Droid Eris that is unhacked (still trying to figure out how to hack it and what bios thingy to put on) and am woried it will slow the phone down even more than it is already.

As with any AV there's always the risk that it will slow it down - maybe it will or maybe it won't. There is no need for AV on android for now, just another AV company looking for $$ feeding of noob's fears. AVG is garbage on Windows so I wouldn't put this on my phone.

If you want info on hacking your phone (upgrading ROM, tweaks, etc.) XDA is the place to go.

No, I'm not affiliated with the site in any way, everyone goes there for guides on rooting and flashing new ROMS on android devices.

It worked for me by disabling wifi and mobile internet and then inserting the serial. It worked on the second try.
