why?

This is a very poor AV for the PC what makes you think its going to be any better for Android, plus its not even "really" "AVG" its just a renamed app which AVG purchased rights to a short while back.

If you want superior security go for Lookout or Kaspersky.

Statistically speaking AVG for PC has some of the highest reviews and downloads compared to everything else. Mobile wise i personally think nothing like this is even needed.

Actually. NOD32 Is the best! Hands Down IMO
Norton would be my second choice..Kaspersky is what you want to use? That's your choice.

Actually AVG Free for the PC was extensively tested in a very saturated virus environment, and came out on top of all other antivirus programs. It detected and fixed the highest proportion of virii compared to any other antivirus programs. And its free.
Norton came 2nd, but most hate symantec as it sucks all the resources out of your pc.

Theres NO way i'd trust it on my PC

Absolutely NO way i'd trust it on Android...especially considering that even with all the years theyve had on PC's they STILL manage to release updates with scary regularity that BSOD windows, and i'd like my HTC to not suffer a similar fate
