This sort of works...but....

You need to download and run the trial SETUP package first but do NOT proceed with the trial install -- after the SETUP package is run, quit the trial setup and then install the above cracked APK. If you don't do this and go straight to installing the cracked APK, the name of the app won't be changed and you'll have "Theft Aware" clearly visible on your system.

However....if you DO run the setup package to mask the name of Theft Aware, then the license check doesn't work and the app remains in 7 day trial.

So I'd say this app is only half-cracked as having it remain on your system as Theft Aware pretty much begs for someone to remove it.

How to change app name... When I installed it there is no question to change name, and I cant find it it settings

I suspect that the SMS with command(s) has to come from another cell phone, but can't confirm till tonight when I try it from my wife's phone. When I sent commands to my number @ my carrier text email address, it came thru to my phone as a regular text message, and I'm sure you're not supposed to SEE those commands coming across like that - the thief/finder might be able to figure out what you're doing if the secret commands show in the text messages??

I did the install-Trial-but-not-open it thing, then installed and configured the version from here. I guess maybe it will just always say 6 days left in the app...
